Quick question if you lot are not hibernating.

The spare 3LN i have needs lots of bits and i have managed to find a stripped non 3LN bike, with single disc and a trellis style frame. Does anyone know the compatability of the parts between these bikes?

Mainly things like the exhaust end can, fuel pump (should be ok) bodywork and more importantly the forks with the disc.

    Cheers for any help

    Parts for 3LN

some parts should be compatible (such as the fuel pump, etc). However, your best bet is to compare the parts before you buy them (if you have the originals) as there may be some slight differences between the models. I did this with my bike and some of the parts are fine.

    cheers

    Forks

Be careful with the forks though as the 3LN is a double disc model and model your looking at is single disc. It would be better to find forks for your specific model of bike in preference to a 3LN.

Yeah RVZ is correct, you could fit the early single caliper brakes + forks if you like as I can see any problems that will cause major problems with rake etc. As the single calipers still brake good it shouldnt cause TOO MUCH of a problem. Fuel pump and exhaust can etc should be ok to use maybe some changes are needed but im not sure. Its worth a try though.
