Hey Guys. Im trying to find out what type of lamp the Twin headlight 3ln1's have? Is it a H7? Im trying to buy new lamps for it but very hard without knowing what i need to buy... It has 35w/35w lamps in it at the moment, which need to be replaced by something much brighter!! lol thanks JB
H7 sounds very familiar, Narva make a range of H7 lamps, but only in single beam. I have scoured the net but been unable to locate any dual filament H7's
yeah its a real tough one and a bit of a pain to say the least! This is always the problems with older bikes, always the electricals, haha.. What makes it even more annoying is that im an electrician and just hate when i cannot figure something out! GGRRRRR I took the globe to a bike shop today and even they thought it was an unusual globe and didnt know what it was, so that wasnt the best news ive ever heard.. I mean common since when do you have to order in globe of the sort haha. Some of these conversions are sounding good, i converted an H4 today but the focals were all wrong, the filaments were in the wrong position for the reflector so it was a really crappy light, so i dont recommend people making that conversion, haha! I cannot even find any documentation anywhere that says what type of globe this is, which makes it even more frustrating! There has to be someone out there who has purchased globes for these bikes, surely someone knows what type of globe this is? Or atleast a globe that will fit into the holder and have the correct focal length? Tar JB
I was sure as anything that all FZR's were twin H4- H7 is a single filament bulb. There is no twin filament H7. I was sure they were all H4........
