    Hi Guys,

Missing some parts to get my bike running:

I don't have the fuel filter attachment for the bottom of the tank. If anyone has one spare I'm interested. I also need a fuel tank cap. The original may yet surface but I'm not holding my breath.

There's no sign of a fuel pump and there doesn't look to be any wiring for one - was there ever one there originally? I've read conflicting information on this one. The fuel pump may well be in the same box as the other missing parts for all I know.

    General Parts:

It had fallen off of the side stand and the right handlebar was bent. I've bent it back and it's 98% straight - the throttle works perfectly. These bars look to be two piece though getting the bar section off of the fork attachment may be difficult. I can get the right tube stock and rethread both the inner and outer ends. Has anyone got the two pieces apart?

I need a seat if anyone has one available - condition is irrelevant as I will re-upholster it if necessary.

Aftermarket blinkers - anyone fitted any. Both of the two front ones have been replaced at some stage so I figure I may as well get a full set of four that match.

I also need the middle sections that go front and back of the pillion seat for the rear fairing if anyone has them available

RHS handelbar switchblock - I don't actually need the whole block I'm just missing the switch lever for the lights internally.

Can anyone recommend a good source for service parts:
Oil filter and air filter, chain & sprockets. I don't mind ordering from OS via ebay and such the wait for shipping doesn't bother me.

What tyres are getting good grip - Dunlop BT45's seem to be mentioned. A source for them in Sydney if possible or any other preferences as far as tyres go. I want Grip, wear comes second as I intend to stick this thing round corners like it was meant to be ridden.

Iridium plugs - are they worth the $$ for better performance at high revs?

That's pretty much it for now

    peace out

iridium plugs are long life and give an intense spark that ignites the fuel better. i buy mine off ebay.com from the states and works out a lot cheaper. same with used parts compared to local wreckers.

Thanks risky - when I saw mention of iridium plugs I was wondering if they were what I used to use in my RGV250 - it's been a long time since she was sold. In the RGV, whichever plugs I switched to, may have been Iridium racing, the smaller electrode used to burn off the oil buildup easier, which was a PITA in stop start traffic.

    peace out
