Across Paint Codes

    I saw mention somewhere that the paint code should be under the seat, all mine's got there is a noise compliance sticker.  I've had a good nose around and can't see anything, is there anywhere else the paint code might be?

    hey John

    There should be a sticker under your seat on the tank, its lists the year of your bike  (1991 model should be '19A' ) and the paint code.

    Yeh, that's where I'd heard it should be, Chris, but all I've got under there is a noise level sticker and the tyre pressure placard, I guess it must have fallen off.  Was hoping to get some touch up paint to tidy up a couple of minor scratches.  Next option is the panel beater's spectroscope I suppose...
