Any Tassy riders keen for a ride in the next week or so?

    Any Riders from Tas keen on going for a ride this Sat (15th) after 12 or some time next weekend? If so let me know.

    Im on my L's...just thought id let ya know

    I'd like to but it is a long way from up Burnie. At the weekend I went down to Hobart for the toy run. Where you there?? What an experience <!-- s:o --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_surprised.gif" alt=":o" title="Surprised" /><!-- s:o --> <!-- s:-? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_Eyecrazy.gif" alt=":-?" title="Eye Crazy" /><!-- s:-? -->

    Unfortunately a couple of crashes, one that happened behind us just after we went through Cressy, some one did a U-turn in front of a bike (a Ducati, I believe). The rider carted off to hospital.

    Then we came across another crash east of Bothwell where a rider passed a car on a tight left hander and ran off the road. Did not stop as the scene was already well attended by other riders, but the bike was a mess.

    There was a fair bit of stupidity on the roads, as I and others were passed by numerous bikes at high speed on double lines as we were travelling through the Poatina road across the lakes district.

    Unfortunatly myself and my friend forgot the toy run was last weekend (as i work nights mostly) and we had a day ride to richmond planned. Damn shame, but we did get to see alot of the riders come through and i got to perv on some wonderful ducati's @ richmond.

    It's such a shame about the duc crashing, i was heading to a meeting @ work yesturday and had just left a round about wen someone pulled out @ me, as it was wet and i was being careful i was able to stop in time but the idiot behind me almost killed me as he was flying through. So as any hot headed rider i followed the knob who decided he was more in the right and when he stopped i gave him a peice of my mind. The nerv of some people, it showed me no matter how carefull we riders are, our lives are still on the line with the amount of careless and stupid drivers.

    Would be nice to see you on sat for a ride though, atm its me and my usual friends and were are both on our L's, ive asked a few other learners on netriders but havnt had any bites yet and i know there are alot of FZR 250's in hobart so i was hoping to meet some of my fellow riders.

    I should be at the Bothwell bakery for lunch sunday if you are in the area. The NWCB Ulysses are having a group ride from Devonport on sunday at 9am and I will be going, weather permitting. The forecast is good..
