    Hi guys,

I'm pretty keen to get a (lams) 2 stroke bike.

Have ridden an nsr 150 and was not a fan of the seating position. So looking into Rs125s now.

Keen to hear your opinions on this bike.

I test rode one today which had a 150 bore kit in it and it was pretty sweet.

Going to check a stock one next.

I remember the nsr one had that lack power at low revs which is normal for 2 stroke then, bam! Power band.

The 150 bore rs125 was a bit different. It also had this wierd behaviour immediately under the powerband where the engine tone was different and felt a bit jerky too.

    Should i be worried?

Maybe the nsrs have that too and i was just too busy joy riding to notice :p

I will carefully compare to the stock one.

Aside from that i liked the handling on the rs125. Had heaps of fun test riding it and i imagine once im more familiar with the bike it would only get better.

Keen to hear opinions and experiences.

P.s. i would be keeping this bike road registered and also doing some track days on it.

I think the new rs 125s are 4 stroke but if you stick to the older ones you should be right. I personally like the aprillia

99% Of the time stock is best, Not for outright speed, but for your pocket and roadside assistance it's ideal, a stock unrestricted RS125 has loads of go
