    I will be racing my 1977 Yamaha IT250D in Pre78 250 and IT400D in Pre78 Over 250.

    Had fun at the Titles.
Saturday conditions were really bad though with 25mm of rain forecast.
Took the 400 out in the practice and brought it straight back in.
Copped a face full of mud in the 1st 250 race and could barely make out where the track went.
Ran off the track a few times and did nearly a lap before I was game to take my left hand off the bars to remove a tear off.
By then the rest of the field was half a lap ahead.
Took 3rd in my 1st 400 race though and was pretty pumped afterwards.
    Sunday the weather was great.
Track was still very slippery in a couple of places including a slurry where my favourite line should have been.
Qualified the 400 7th out of two dozen for the final so was pleased with that.
But my previous days last in the 1st 250 race meant I was 11th (out of 20?) in the 250s and so missed the 1st cut at the final.
All those that missed out went into a repechage for two places in the final.
Me and another guy who crashed out of one of his races had a great race swapping 1st and 2nd place the whole race until we went over the line side by side.
I didn't know I had won it until the next day when a workmate said I won it by a few inches.
The 250 final was full on and I managed 6th.
In the 400 final I picked the far outside position with the idea of trying to keep out of the 1st turn mayhem and round them up around the outside.
Bummer that the methanol burning Triumph 650 chose the spot next to me.
I was totally screwed. There was no way I could get around the outside of him and I ended up coming last.
