My flywheel magneto is after breaking in to pieces and the battery no longer will charge.

Finding it hard finding one but was wondering would one from a GSF 400 bolt on?

Need to ride the bike and it's the only thing stopping it.

    Part number for a 250 is 31402-05000

And for the 400 is 31402-33000

They do look alike but unsure if they'll match up.

It is most likely that the centre part will definitely be different. It may be possible to replace the outer section by removing the rivets and fitting the new flywheel from another model. Of course the rivets will have to be custom made. I suggest rummaging around a wreckers.
You can also just fit an entire assembly from another model by having a new centre made. I have done this in the past.
    cheers

Have you any idea what the part number from the across is?
