hey guys. im trying to recharge the batt, but csnt get to it under the seat. any1 know how to lift the seat (switch etc) or how to get to the battery?? cheers tim
Tim You should be able to release the pillion seat with the keys for the bike. Underneath the pillion seat there should be a release handle for the riders seat. Pull the handle and try and wiggle the seat off by pulling it towrds the back of the bike. You should be able to access the battery once its off. This is how its done on my bik (hopefully its the same for yours). Cheers
Hey guys, For my bike 1989 3LN, you lift the pillon seat up and take that bit of plasic that sits behind your butt off and then unscrew a 12mm bolt then lift the seat off. And the batt should be there. Just alittle tip if you need more batt acid, do not use water like you can with car 12 volt batts, with the bike batts water distorys the batt. Jarmizz
