    So, my wife didn't stay unemployed for as long as we feared and, now her pay is rolling in again, we had some savings left over.
    Last night we were talking about it and she says "Given how long it took you to change the bearings, fork seals and brake calipers on the VTR, wouldn't it be better for the shop to do the brakes and carby kit on the CBR?"
    "Sure," says I "but where are we going to get the cash for that?"
    "Well we can use some of the leftover savings, if you like."
    So, this morning I ordered the carby kit from @Litetek and I'll be heading down to the shop to get the work lined up.
    Colour me happy :)
