Was reading some stats on worldwide sales of Japanese motorcycles. What really got me was the number of bikes that Australia imports from Japan. We are the third largest importer with some 37.500 bikes imported for fiscal year 2011. The United States was number one with 165.000 units and France being second with 39.500. This means we purchase 7.4% of Japans production of motorcycles. For a nation with 22 million inhabitants , we really like our Japanese bikes.
