I walked into the store here that was known as "Clarks Rubber" back in the day and picked out the most expensive foam mattress .... even had a chunk cut off to fit the floorplan in the trailer
Hopefully its comfortable to sleep on ... its very thick and has a good feel to it.

Can anyone tell what kind of battery this is without me having to pull it out .... I cant see down the sides and it weighs a ton

 

Just read this in the original 4 sale ad ..... just looking into adding a solar panel to the roof

 

Yea thats half the trouble ... theres a zillion panels and a billion sellers

I visited a caravan joint last week and its going there to have the 2 windows put in and the stabilser legs done
They do solar as well but Im having lights and other stuff setup inside eventually by an auto electrician (who Ive used before ) so I may just see what he says/recommends

 

I was going to put 2 windows in myself but cutting the opening ... it has to be spot on so the pros can do it .... Im waiting for them to get back to me ... they had 1 window on the shelf and were ordering another

Im going to put rubber backed carpet on the floor and use the leftovers on the lower sides etc for a bit of insulation

When a bike is in situ Ill figure out some sort of cupboard/storage up front and somewhere for the sockets for USB and the fridge .... and some sort of headboard between the fridge and bed

I drove a LWB Series 3 Landrover around Australia 35+ years ago (first marriage honeymoon) and built in a roof vent ,bed, storage, cupboards ,sink/tap, mini TV setup , in the back and that was in the days when there wasnt much "off the shelf" stuff around

The carpentry in that vid is too good for my skills and Ill have to grow a man bun to use a sewing machine

If I had your van I would put in a swing down bed like this on 1 side ..... so it can be locked up and out of the way when not needed

 

Well built piece of kit ... but way too heavy ..... Ill have to figure out how to setup,setdown and store it on the trailer in 2 pieces using some push in /pull out pins at the hinge points
Also a metal bar that sits in the tow hitch for it to rest on
