i finally got off my lazy ass and took the bike to the mechanic last week. He's going to conduct a compression test and replace the head gasket and service the head and carbs and is also gonna fix the faulty thermo gauge that got me into this big mess in the first place.

Hes pretty busy so he wont be able to start on my bike till after xmas but when he does he'll give me a quote and ill let you guys know how much it costs.

Anyone looking for the place, theyve across the road next to clarks rubber.
Staff there are really friendly and helpful.

Hrmm I need new headgaskets and rings..but everyone ive spoken to..they want way too much. Its gonna costg over 250 dollars just to get them.
