Hey, anyone in Vic/NSW who can recommend a cost effective, caring bike transporter to ship a bike from Melb to Syd/ or Tamworth? Need to ship an FJR 1300....

grasshopper, could do for you for fuel , meals and time but would be dearer than the shipper murdo used or you could ship to my place and either pick up or i could deliver in return for help on 2kr and zxr.

Try these guys... some are cheaper if you go depot to depot instead of door to door pickup/delivery.

I used 'south coast motorcycle transport' (I think that was the name) to bring the VT from north Melbourne to Newcastle, $300.

I used Fergusson's Motorcycle Transport to get a bike from Adelaide to Canberra and it was only about $400.

Try jumping on facebook and looking up CCJMC public page. There's a few guys doing trips up the coast at various times of the year with trailers etc they do good deals. They all seem to know who to use as well.
