Help Blowing fuses

    well this is unique, wired up the new left hand controls, added brush on electrical tape, tested it all, works fine, but, pull clutch in, main fuse blows. ok, disconnect clutch switch, pull it in, headlight dims, until headlights blows fuse. now, there are no wires on the clutch, unless there are wires inside the case. any ideas?

    You have resistance somewhere, or too much amperage going through a circuit. Check battery terminals, all grounds especially to the frame/engine, and switchblocks etc for corrosion.

    i get a feeling, as ive taken the battery box off, the battery negative is connected to the frame. whats the bet, that the clutch wire, is being used for power now?
