looking around for some quality discs and you really only have a choice between metalgear discs (which i have used in the past on the rear) and cheap chinese knock offs.

anyone know of any other brands?

Dont forget when searching to look for brake rotors as well and for the ZXRs other names ... ZX-2R or ZXRR

and yes as Chris says ...the metalgear are the usual choice around here :thumb_ups:

I think EBC may make some? They are normally pretty good as well. Not sure of the compatability with year model etc though.

I'd say go Metalgear like everyone else but just because I like to be controversial I talked to a gentleman recently who has been having success with some Chinese cheapies he bought.

Was saying you need to get the round rotors not the Vee style ones, and run a soft pad (and new pads of course).

That being said if you're happy to spend the money they'll never compete with the metal gear and similar ones.

found a store locally that sells ebc brake components, got happy so i took a ride (in the rain) over to them only to find an empty storefront.

decided to just order the metalgear disks, ebc do make disks for the zxr250, i could only find them in the uk though.
