does anyone know where to get front brake caliper seal kits? I made the mistake of washing mine in kero while i had the calipers apart, BIG mistake it makes them grow a few mm.

They are available thru the yamaha dealers as well. I was quoted about $87 a set, if I remember correctly.

I was told that places like ABS (they specialise in brakes and cluches) can supply them as well...

Just take your pistons (NOT the whole caliper) and ask them if they have any thing that fits..

Why not the whole caliper?? they will tell you they do not do bikes... and unless you have a realy friendly and knowagble sales person behind the desk they will not serve you...

I'm lucky.. the local guy is a guru... knows of top of his head what bits can substitute recomended replacments for cars.. and has ocasionaly been usefull with bike bits as well!

Bursons staff will not speek to me any more... I keep on asking them for bike parts and they don't stock any... (than I come back from Repco with with the disired part and show it off to them!!)
