Hi guys a saw some pretty good Megelli bike there, but after reading this forum Im bit scared of buying it. I saw Megelli 250r 2011 model for 1500 on gumtree. But the condition is dead (probably the battery) and the seller won't let me charge or take it to mechanic (unless i buy it). So there is no way to check the engine. And the thought of the battery under the tank is putting me off, also a lot of people complain about starting it in the winter is bit of a pain. SO IS THIS BIKE WORTH BUYING IT? I need a reliable bike for long trip to city (i work there) and also have to start every morning without a problem. I recon with the same price i can get used daelim but with less problem. What do you guys recon? (oh and im a noob so fixin it myself is out of question)

    Hey nsan15
If the seller of the Megelli won't let you start it, then there must be something to hide, I would beat a hasty retreat and look at something else.
I had hoped that the early problems facing the Megelli would have been solved, alas the list of problems keep getting posted, you do the maths!
Keep looking, you will find something that will fulfill your needs, just be patient and the rest will follow. ;)
