I am not going to disagree with you (as I don't believe that these were ever delivered locally) HOWEVER I was told by a guy at Piston Broke Motorcycle Wreckers (Eastern Suburbs, Melbourne) that there were a couple hundred properly released in Australia.

With that said, I don't believe him and do think he was just trying to get me to buy the rf900 I was looking at at the time...

Not that insurance companies are anything to go by, but alteast they have access to the governing records of which vehicles were locally delivered. None of them have ever had an FZR250 as a locally delivered bike. That said, all of them probably have 'Caution: Grey market import! DO NOT INSURE' next to the FZR250's aswell. <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->
Or maybe that was just the insurance comapnies I spoke to!

if you want a carbon-fibre indicator....

you can take off the original indicator, clean it up, and make a set of glass fibre female mod from the original indicator... you would have to do a wet-lay up to make 2 piece female mod... you can get supply from a composite shop... you would also need vaccum pump, and vaccum bag material. dont forget to extend the edges of your mod so when you are done you can drill through the extra flange and bolt your 2 piece mods together.

once the mods made done, you do a carbon fibre lay against your female glass fibre mod... depending what facility you have access to, you can possibly do a prepreg... but if you are just average joe, you would prob do a wet layup of hte carbon fibre, which you would go through the same process as making that female mod...

tips if you actually wanna do it... you should also get some epoxy ( i forgot the name of this one, but its red/organish no mixing required) to fill up your mod to get rid of the imperfection on the mod...
