@BlueDragon ... from their FB page
Yes, still on. Ride to Spring Ridge for pub lunch after. I may go the long way home through Mullaley and Gunnedah for a longer ride.
I didn't know there was a Facebook page. I prefer to stay away from social media type sites.
I'll probably pass on the ride - still have lots to work to do on the project bikes the boys are working on.
We're fortunate in Melbourne as we have our own 250 group who meet regularly and organise rides. One of the founders is a member on this forum (@Joker) and the group has its own FB page where they promote events etc. Search for Club250 and you should find them. They're a proper club and have membership and can organise Victorian Club registration for your bike too. They recently had a ride that I was hoping to go on, but as usual, I didn't make it. They're also planning a Tasmania Ride in February 2020 if you're interested. I think this link will take you to their FB page https://tinyurl.com/y4rol2my
19 bikes turned up today.
Six went for ride to the Spring Ridge pub for a sherbert and lunch. I carried on to Mallaley and Gunnedah to make a 280Km ride while the rest returned home.
Nine bikes turned up for coffee and chat. Newly on the road CBR250r (MC-19) has been a long build but finally there.
Seven for a smokey ride, stopping for refreshments at Dungowan pub before continuing to Kootingal pub for lunch.
Id like to get back to the Bunnings mornings with the Daytona , but unfortunately they coincide with my parental duty weekends currently
Too bloody hot for anymore Bunnings for a while. We might have to look at the evening get togethers where ever they are held now.
They have been doing Sat nights at Hungry Jacks ... not sure if the Friday nights at Bunnings are still on the menu ... Ill keep an eye on their facebook page
If I wake up enthused enough I may get out there Sunday ... it at least looks like much lower temps than the usual lately and Im without child ... but the forecast keeps changing
Sounds good - except I'll be away... maybe next time...
Turned out an alright day. 11 turned up for chat and coffee, 7 for ride (with one drop out half way) via Attunga, Somerton, Keepit Dam with 6 for lunch at pub in Manilla.
Yep nice turn out with some reasonable weather as well
Something I tried yesterday and used alot today was clutchless upshifting .... 2nd/3rd to top with decent revs and its silky smooth , if u get it right .... being wary of your speed though as that gets up pretty quick too
The Sunday mornings have started up again with lots of cars and 11 bikes. Don't know if a ride was organised as not well so went home early.
Not much happening down here in leper land.
