    Nah i heard dont use them cause why would u replace a japan made one for a chinese one. And all the unrestricted **** is crap

    Well, I can think of a couple of reasons.
    All electronic parts have a lifetime measured in cycles to failure, so 2nd hand ones will not have the life of a new product. If the OEM part goes out of production then your choices become very limited. As to quality, a lot of motorcycle manufacturers are building plants and sourcing parts offshore these days. You cannot assume that a genuine part for a Japanese motorcycle is made in Japan. I noticed in the documentary "The Peoples Republic of Capitalism" they mentioned a Chinese company that produces motorcycle electronic components for Japanese motorcycle manufacturers. I do agree with the unrestricted feature being quite useless though.
