    Decided that I want a CBR250RR

After one that doesn't need major work to it with as low kilometres as possible.

Can trade for a Ninja 250R if that's what you want

Personally I say.... Great choice.. My first bike was a baby blade.. loved it.. I still stand by what i say when it comes to the old inline 4, 16 valve, double overhead cam, 250 sports bikes are the best to learn on.. still forgiving but teaches you how to corner so much better then the newer 250's...

sorry back to you topic now..

CBR250RR is a great bike. But if you find one with genuine low Ks, it will cost $8000. As a general rule, you should not believe on the Ks of any MC22. It's a leaner's bike, around 20 to 25 years old. If it shows 45,000 Ks, assume it's 145,000.

There is a guys selling a 99 model with less than 8000 Ks. Left the bike in the shop for all these years. He's asking around $8,000 for it.

Don't worry much about the kilometres. Instead, check if the bike is mechanically sound and is clean. Service is something you can get done, and if the price is right, you can get new chain and sprockets, etc. Most important, mechanically sound and clean.
