Ever tried to rebuild one of these motors with parts from Yamaha? Well, it can get expensive.

But now a guy on ebay is selling engine parts for the same prices as the CBR250RR parts.

So far he has put up rings, pistons, gaskets and bearings. He even has oversized pistons & rings sets for $100!

He also has access to more parts that he doesn't list, send him an email and he will order in the parts and put them up.

    His store is at http://stores.ebay.com/ETSHARK

    Let the engine rebuilds begin!

Holy crap - $90 shipped for 4 pistons and ring sets?! That's incredible, but I have to wonder - WTF is wrong with them??? Pot metal pistons don't last that long... <!-- s:-? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_Eyecrazy.gif" alt=":-?" title="Eye Crazy" /><!-- s:-? -->

I like the idea of the +0.5mm bearing shells - if your crank & cases are badly done, get them line-bored to the new shells.

A mate got some off him for the CBRs, and they came in honda boxes.

Will let you know how long they last thou.

But considering the same pistons and rings of yamaha cost $800, i'm okay with the odd loss
