I have a set of four Denso iridium plugs up for sale. Still in original packaging (NGK equivalent CR9EH-9). $50 for the set. Will consider shipping if your not too far away. In Brisbane if you want to come round and have a look.

Normal retail on these plugs are $22.00 each, so its a big saving!

    Cheers,
    RVZ

Potential buyers note: the fzr250 takes cr8e's... So while it is a good deal only if you have a bike that fits them.

Sorry guys I forgot to mention that they will not fit the FZR. The guys who would be looking for this type of plug would be the bigger bore riders or the Honda riders (sorry, I know its a Yamaha site!).

    Cheers,

They will so "FIT" the FZR250, won't be the manufacturer "recomended" plug heat range though. Does this matter? Depends on the mixture and climate. If it were BigLezs bike I think you'll find it already has the CR9Es out of my old gixxer in it. Actually runs a little better when hot due to the heat dissipating properties of the colder plug.

really? I thought the diameter on cr9eh's was larger than cr8e's and thus wouldn't even fit. I haven't compared - but the cr9e's on my bike certainly seem wider than the cr8e's I used to have on my fzr.

the "c" in cr9e is the thread size and pitch. the "r" means a resistor type plug for radio suppression. "9" is the heat range and the "e" is the thread reach or depth.

You can us any type of C- - E plug in your engines as they will physically fit the chamber design. The resistor don't really matter to the bike and the heat range depended on the running conditions.

I always thought the CR8E were a shorter plug than the CR9EH as the H-9 stood for their lenght...

Nope, EH-9 stands for partial thread 19mm reach (same as E) and 0.9mm gap. Gap can be easily changed and reach not a problem in an FZR250 since the plug hole is fully threaded.
