City West Yamaha (Hoppers Crossing, Melb) have one in their warehouse, can get it tuesday morning they said. (03) 9369 8684. $9.25 for the gasket.

Postage was another $10.70 though, bit pricey. Earliest I could pickup is tuesday next time I'm down there, may save some cost but not much time if you want it urgently...

There's always scissors and gasket paper to tie you over if need be.

Would be a nightmare for a clutch cover. I'd stick to a gasket that made for it. But I am a butcher with scissors haha

I've made them heaps of times before, currently have one on the bandit I made with no leakage (clutch cover too). Just make sure you get oil rated gasket paper and she's all good.

Use grease on it Mr Grey and you will be able to reuse it a gazillion times. Well maybe slightly less than a gazillion.

...why would you grease it with the exact thing you're trying to prevent leaking past it...?

The manual stated to champ. Some people swear by it others hate the idea. But it softens the gasket still seals and doesn't seep and comes off without leaving behind tiny pieces of gasket next time.

It said to grease it with engine oil? I get the reason for greasing a gasket, but surely you don't use engine oil? :idk: I get it if you're trying to seal an o-ring but bit of a different story there....

Weird recommendation I think. But if you haven't had any problems that's good news. :thumb_ups:
