Has anyone ever heard of the BRUTE SL-250-4 Motorcycle
250cc Dual (2) In-Line Cylinders Engine? I've only been able to find it online in one place... http://www.extreme-scooters.com/SL250-4_bruteCycle.htm

Some of the other bikes I was considering are

-- TANK Sports Vision 250E (2009 or later)

    --Hyosung GV250 (2009 or later)

    -- Jinlun JL 250 Cruiser

I'm looking for a bike that isn't too expensive but isn't complete trash, I've heard different reviews about all these bikes, ANY information would be helpful...I was hoping to buy one used so I wouldn't have to lay down more cash for a brand new bike when I am just starting out, I live in New Jersey so if anyone knows of these bikes or bikes similar to these that are for sale relatively
    Nearby please inform me.

    Thanks,
    MGM

Most of the members here are I. Australia but out of the bike you've suggested I would lean more towards the hyosung. They are starting to get a good name over here. I don't k ow much about the other bikes on the list. Good luck and remember test them out as you need to be comfortable when riding it.

Im with Len in choosing Hyosung, some of the names you have put forward such as brute we arent familiar with, I daresay some of the names you suggested are rebadged chinese bikes for the US market, we get this down under too.

Best thing would be to test ride them all and see what feels right to you.

    take it easy

Hi if you like the cruiser style I ride a QJ Supershadow 250 or it may be called a  BOLLINI Supershadow 250 or Keeway Supershadow 250. Not sure what they will sell it under in the USA

It is a Chinese bike but it keeps up with the bigger bikes on club rides. Up too 110km\h.
Handles well and great fun for a first bike.

It appears to be well made and has been very reliable so far as I have had it just under a year.
