Whilst continuing to rebuild the motor on Chris's bike at my mechanics workshop on the Sunshine Coast, Today something occur ed that I thought I would share. A young man pulled in to have his bike serviced, but he had just driven up from the southern suburb of Brisbane. That's about 150k's in pouring rain. He had recently transferred down to Brisbane from the Sunshine coast and had used Redline for years servicing his CBR600RR. Service completed he headed back to Brisbane in the still poring rain, now that's dedication!! If you find a good mechanic, stick with him. P.S. and it's still pouring rain Phil
he may like riding in the rain phil something you get used to when you ride in europe as you well know good on him i say
As the bike is my only means of self transportation, I make it a point to ride in all conditions possible... You never know, especially in melbourne, when you might hit a rough patch of weather, but it's not always fun.... hit a surprise thunderstorm the other week between leongatha and inverloch... that was COLD!
this isnt sso much as dedication but i rode my across back from hervey bay to newcastle thats 1135kms in about 800kms of really heavy rain, not a bad effort seeing how it was my first on a bike lol
