I seem to remeber a figure something like 4.8 seconds or something like that for a 0-100 time on an CBR250RR, so i'd imagine the FZR250 is about the same league. Of course, you can improve your 0-100 times by changing the final gearing... but then your gonna have to be a quick shifter to get there.

Fairly sure mines got the standard sproket on front and it's got a 56 on the back. Can do an indicated ~110 in 2nd.

We've got one of those trailer signs which tell you your speed, just down the road at the moment but my speedo reads 0 no matter how fast I'm going so can't compare <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->

One of those G-tech meters which you plug on a car windscreen would fit on a bike screen, that'd be the easiest way for 0-100 tests.

The one problem with those G-Tech meters is that as soon as you lift the front wheel the calculations are borked; but i guess that's less of a problem on a 250 as it is on a 1000.

That's OK, because as soon as you lift your front wheel, your acceleration is borked, too :p
