DIY: Changing Accel Cables

    Does any one have a diy for this? its a 91 with the two separate cables

    figured it out myself. its pretty easy.

    lift the fuel tank up andtake the air box off, pull old acel cable off and put the new one in its place the thread back through to your hanldle bars.

    props to victorian motorcycle wreckers in hidleberg, new cable set me back $20.

    yamaha wanted $150 and 3 weeks to import from japan.

    Glad to see that you worked it out. One of our members previously made up cables using parts from a bicycle shop.
