    Hi,
I just recently brought a gj72 Across Engine and put it in my gsxr as my engine was crap.(Didnt know it was across till it arrived).
Install went fine till i got everything back together and seen that my crank shaft sensor had 3 wires blue/brown/green and the Across engine had 2 wires blue and brown firstly i thought of just pluging them in but the wires where miss match so i swapped them in the plug and pluged them in.
engine wont start just keeps turning over.

So i took the crankshaft sensor cover off on both engines and had a look at the diffrence.
Across engine has 2 wires to a single point and a hex nut with six points
Crap engine has 3 wires 2 points and 1 point on the hex bolt.
so i swapped them over after asking a motercycle mechanic including the hex nut.
engine still turns over and back fires every now and then.
i checked spark at the plugs and there all working checked it was getting fuel,it is.
    nothing... still

This is all my fault as this is my first motercycle and first engine replacement i never checked what year or make the engine came out of.
So i buy the Across CDI and its different... only 1 plug fits and theres no plug for crankshaft sensor.

So.....Is there anyway to make either of the CDI work? or if theres spark does it mean its working?
or am i missing something? Can post pictures if need be.
