interesting the effect headers have on a bikes performance.went to qld to get some pipes bent and polished[at great cost] .stainless used was 304. old headers were honda from 1972 and were heavy wall and heavy.once off the inside could be seen and rust internally was well advanced.the motor would run but not IDLE.with new headers it would idle well.another lesson learnt that the carbs may not be dirty but the exhaust can be blocked. the friend is looking at 2 new stainless copies at over 500 each.will it improve the bike?who knows but the bike will be lighter.
