Fairing plastic repairs

    thanks Punch  :Thumbs_up:, I had performed repairs in the past using Qbond, but hadnt used a soldering iron to weld the join from the back, I will certainly give it a go next time round.

    Very interesting write up ill have to try it next time i drop my bike. Shouldnt be too far away.

    i try to stay upright phil. The only time ive dropped a bike is when im hardly moving.
    Or trying to wheel my bike somewhere. lol :D :D

    Same story here, at a standstill and managed to come off, not hurt at all but my Pride to a serious beating.    Phil

    Thanks It was a good article and I will keep a copy of it safe as I hope to do a project bike as soon as I can get the space. You never know what I will need

    I thought this might help too! I used this video as a guide recently when I was doing my plastic welding.
    About the donor plastic, I just went to the local smash repairer and picked up a car bumper they were throwing out, I have enough donor plastic to make my whole fairings again! ;D
