    Well, in need of a replacement, I wanna know what the fastest, most deadly 250 out there is.

    Care to enlighten me anyone?

    and?

    Are you going to go 2 stroke? If you arent afraid of smoky exhast, loud ugly noises or ineffieciency then a 2 stroke could be the plan...

    ps. why would it not net me say 250 in this post? It gave me an 'internal server error'

    well if money is no issue, then the only choice has got to be an aprillia rs250 (2001 model looks nice i think, the last one made was a bit too rainbow for me, but anything pre 2004-5? is cool) the rs is the best handling, but has the same engine as the suzuki rgv250 (suzuki sold it to aprillia i think) so if u want a budget option, then the rgv is basically the same thing without the fancy electronics, and italian styling...

    i havent really looked into the nsr250's (honda) but as far as i know a well tuned rgv will beat it?

    i seem to remember reading a website about them which was saying the imported versions had been restricted, and theur was a certain ignition module to look out for which gave then 65bhp stock instead of 45???

    but without a doubt the coolest 250 2 is the aprillia <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

    Yup, Aprillia is the way to go, but in NZ they are over 8k, so if thats a problem then the RGV is the one. Aprillia just tuned the rgv's a little better i think. The RGV should have around 60hp with any special ignition, but the older NSRs are about 45hp.

    haha i was gonna buy the rgv, but decided a 4 stroke was nicer to learn on, more enjoyable to ride, and didnt leave u smelling like 2 stroke for the girlfriend ;) and now of course that i own a fizzer, they are without a doubt the coolest bike on the planet, well until i get my r1 anyway! (drools)
