I would to get to know you guy's feedback on improving the site. I was talking to James and were have came to a conclusion of removing certain areas to make the topics even smaller but yet more interactive..

These are the suggested removals for this time, until the community grows larger that we need more areas.

For Sale and Wanted
Riding Events
Yamaha R6
Yamaha R1

Let us know what you think?

I think its best to keep this site strictly for FZRs.. since other yamaha bikes have alot of forums to go to. It would be best to grab all the FZR riders here in one place so we can help each other out.

Yeah I agree,
Create a niche.
You'll be one of the only FZR forums around, and the best.

Thoughts

Thanks Robo, how about we use this subject to come up with ways to make this forum better. Just jott down your ideas and Dean and I will change/improve things/ideas as much as we can. I will be improving the forum and website (with David of course) alot in times to come seen as I have a little (little that is) spare time now.

I will also be using Yamahaforever.com as a a kinda project in my Deplomia in Web design so it should (will ) be looking awesome. We need your help though, we dont know what kinda forum/site you want and enjoy looking at unless you tell us what you enjoy.

We can and will be the worlds number one FZR (small time Yamaha) site in the world.

Any ways thanks for you time,

Jarmizz (James)

Hey James and ppls,

I think the forsale section is a great idea, once people start to use it and the site grows and develops it will really take off. FZR stuff is hard to come across especially when you don't know anyone with one. This board gives ppl the opportunity to share info/items/parts/etc why not use it to it's full extent.

We also need an off topic disscussion !!!! this is how the people of the board/community grow and interact ! off topic disscussion is essential to the development of the board

Also I think you should have the date members joined displayed next to their name ! thus we can determine how accurate the info given is when looking at date and amount of posts
[Edit : it's allready there good work boys]

Just my 2 Cents

Embo....

Dean,
Ahhh I see the For Sale section is back excellent work. I guess the "Yamaha General" section is kinda off topic but it still kinda says lets talk bikes and only bikes i'm thinking more along the lines of well i guess a social disscussion. If you wanna keep it simple then maybe it's not needed just an idea.

P.s Lets keep this on topic DOuFINKimSEXY, That way we can improve the site(not intended as a flame man just a heads up

Embo,

Since the site is still growing, it is best to just keep general with talk about bikes and whatever. As soon as we find that we need to split the areas up we will do it.
If we can keep it just small for now to create bigger intereaction it will be sweet.. once then expand.. as we always have the options.
but with the for sale and wanted section, definately a must have since FZR parts are rare...
maybe i should of registered.. www.fzr.com eh heheh

perhaps a sticky under the yamaha fzr section about parts (and part compatabilities). In there it could just describe little things like what sorts of spark plugs, suitable tires, compatable parts wtih other bikes (i.e. 2kr model shares front forks with the 1986 rz 250). This could become useful as people fix their bikes - they can indicate what parts (and numbers if applicable) they used as they can be hard to source at times.

Other than that I like the site. As long as I have a place to get advice/feedback I'm happy.

Good idea BOZ, A sticky would be handy would save ppl hours of searching the forums for simple info. Also would stop ppl asking the same questions over and over which have been answered before in other threads.
