I purchased this bike back in 2003 for Sumitomo in North Melbourne. The bike had 15,000km on it when purchased. It hasn't been used much the last few years, as I had put on some weight & felt sorry for the poor old bike, but didn't want to let it go just yet. I have now decided to upgrade next year so I need to get this bike out of the garage to make room for the next bike. I had a low speed offie on it a few years back (approx. 20km/h, lost the front end on some diesel on the road) hence the reason why I decided to take the fairings off, as the LHS one was beyond repair. I purchased a replacement fairing for it also back some years ago, however I never got around to painting & fitting it onto the bike. Purchased a new battery for it a few months back as the battery had died. I have also recently pulled off the carbies & given them a good clean. Currently the bike is running quite well. As you can see from the pics, there are some scratches on the RHS fairing which was caused when one of my mates laid the bike on its side. Also on both rear view mirrors have scratches. The speedo is currently not working either, the speedo cable is fine, its just the gear in the front fork that needs to be replaced i believe. This was a great bike to me while I was on my learners & p's, is sad to see it go as I have had it for so long now, but an upgrade to a bigger bike is on the cards.
