Does anyone know/is anyone able to measure the clearance gap between the handlebar crown and the top of the inner fork tube. I foolishly removed both the forks without taking measurements. To clarify which gap I am refering to it can be found at the bottom of pp7-34 in da FZR400 Service Manual. The FZR400 manual lists the gap as being 44mm... is ours the same??. Thanks FZRdude. Sounds like I remember.... i think. Leaving the top of the cap/bolt just a smidge above the level i think it was. 'tis my first fork change. Meh. What can really go wrong. Apart from that I'm not sure if I drove the new oil seal down too far (if that's possible)?. I'm sure common sense will prevail. Now if can only find some.
