Fuel Filter Clean / Replace

    Remove side fairings. Put fuel tap to off position. Find the tube that exits the bottom of your tank and follow it to the fuel pump. You may along the way find the filter. There may be clamps on this, if so you should be able to take these clamps off by hand. If they used cable ties you will need to cut them (but beware of hoses). Remove both sides of the clamps. If it is plastic then it is probably disposable - you will need to buy a new one (they're cheap). If it is reusable (metal of some sort) simply wash it in some gasoline. Replace. The filter may be located after the fuel pump (between pump and engine), and there may not be a filter at all...
