    Hi all

    Newbie here
Thanks to this forums wealth of knowledge it has revived my passion to bring my fzr 3LN1 back to life after 20 years in storage . After reading a few threads I’ve rebuilt the carbies with Litetek seals and keyster kit Replaced radiator hoses with Litetek ones . Put oil in the cylinders , Checked for spark put in some fuel and turned her over
After 15 mins of turning it over
    To my amazement
It finally came to life and I swear you could not wipe the grin of my face
when I heard the engine roar for the first time in 20 years
It was music to my ears!!

This is gonna be a start of something special

    :welcome:

15 minutes of cranking sounds about right :lolsign:

I recently revived my 3LN6 after about 5 years of being sat semi pulled apart. Luckily we had done clearances before hand.

Some fresh spark plugs and fluids, with the carbs off and some starting fluid and it came back to life.

    here’s a few pics
Although it doesn’t look much like a bike right now.
    A bit of an update
Taken the whole front end apart
Cleaning up the fork tubes due to pitting.
in the process of rebuilding the front and rear calipers as pistons are seized
Just waiting on seals to arrive
    Master cylinders are also shot
Does anybody know where I can get torque specs for the Fzr In general as I’m taking the disc brake rotor off
to clean/ paint rotor and wheels
so ill want to torque the bolts to factory specs

    thanks
