    can anyone tell me the diffbetween the 2 please i thought i had a fzr 1991 mod import had it seviced today and receipt said work on fzrrr 1998 mod can any body help please

    it was made in 1991, imported to aus and complianced for use in aus 1998

    As raptor said built '91, compliance '98.
    As for the FZR/RR thing, supposedly the 3LN's started to get labelled as the FZR250RR or something silly like that in order to compete with the CBR250RR. It's mostly just marketing gimmicks.

    I don't think that Yamaha has ever had a double-R bike. If they did, it was the OW01 (FZR750R), but it wan't a RR bike.
