well I hate to do this but I need money for a car, so i'm selling my fzr250r. It's the 2kr model and has 45K km's on the clock.
The previous owner had put a new engine in it at about 30K km's, cost him about $1500. Will try and provide a reciept.
The bike is in good condition, and mostly ridden to work and back. The bike HAS been ridden in the rain but not on purpose

Tyres are in good condition and they are Dunlop. Just replaced the rear tyre not long ago. Goes very well and can keep up and sometimes beat cbr250rr's.
Front guard is broken off but can easily be fixed. It did not break off from crashing. I broke it off myself as I was riding up the mountains one day and it started to crack and started to wobble all over the place. I didn't really want it to fall of when I was riding so I broke it of.

Awesome first bike and has been looked after well. I am located on the southside.

Price: $3,500 ono.

Also just had it serviced in December, can provide reciets. Got new steering bearings and fork seals, all up about $350. New engine is only about 10-15kms old. Oh yeah also just got a new front screen which cost $90.

Why? Isn't the bike good enough? (I have had no other transport for the past 4.5 years other than a bike. My wife has a car but I can only access that infrequently on the weekends).

When you do sell, make sure you tell the new owner about this site!

What sort of car are you looking at?

I have a mate desperate for an FZR. Willing to look at this bike but he wants to know about why the engine was replaced and what condition its in now. If you can pass on this info to me that would be great.

The engine was replaced due to the last owner being ripped off! Im not srue what he needed done to the engine but it was not very much. The guy had money so he didnt really care he put in a new engine and sold it.

I will buy a bike again with in a year or two. Car's im looking at are silvia s13, 180sx and mx-6. Bike is good condition. Goes in the trading post tommorow.
