    2kr changes

If you have a 2kr (pre-delta box, with exup) all of the above is essentially the same except for:

    Model name; FZR250
    Model Code; 2kr
    Frame Start Number; 2kr-???

    Dry Weight; 142kg
With oil and full tank; 162kg

    Tire size (Rear); 120/80-17

These are the only obvious changes that I am aware of compared to those specs above.

I do question the 51km per litre at 50km/h fuel consumption... <!-- s:-? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_Eyecrazy.gif" alt=":-?" title="Eye Crazy" /><!-- s:-? --> that means I could do over 500 km's on one tank of petrol which is doubtful. I usually hover between 160 before reserve is necessary (190 max) - assuming moderate city driving. (open roads can reach 220 km's max)

if you have a 1hx (pre-delta box, no exup) then there will be a lot of changes to the specs above simply because there is no exup. Sorry!

Personally I can get around 140-150 km's before needing to switch to reserve (city commuting). I have pushed it an extra 20 km's on reserve, though i usually fill at the first station I see after turning on reserve tank. When I refill I usually end up putting in around 10 litres. Works out to around 15km/l or so, which is nothing spectacular (quite low actually - efficient cars can get around 12 km/l).

On open roads I can reach 200+ km's before running out. Most I have done on one tank is 223 - down to phillip island and part way back and my bike JUST sputterred to the servo.

I hope to get my bike back soon, then I can test how far I go on my tank... and this time I won't be riding to any national parks.!
