Gday from the Alice

    G'day all.
    I aquired a CBX250 5/85 due to a friend leaving town
    I.ve had it sitting for a year or so and decided because of teh wife to have a look at it.
    So far it I've discovered it turns over, the electrics work, and the tyres stay up.
    I will need a new tank. and new lock and barrel. any thoughts.
    For a bike with a value between 850 and 3000? is it worth getting it going. rego in the NT is probably 400ish for 6 months.
    I used to have a GSX550 '84? and a GSX 650.

    Thanks everyone for the posts. My that was quick. If I were to scan ebay, I'ld get lost. Thanks greyimport for finding those items.
    Now to do some sums. Was thinking maybe chuck some nobblies on and us it to scream around the back on crown land, rather than trying to register it. If they used the same motor on the XL250 then I should have too many worries.
