Go easy on the tension

    Over the last 4 years I've had the pleasure of working on a certain number of bikes that I have resurrected and brought back to life. I always try and get a little history on the bike if possible, alas not always available. The number one grip I have is that people tend to over tension everything they touch.
    No. 1  plugs ( THEY DON'T NEED 100lb OF TORQUE )
    NO. 2  SUMP PLUGS ( SAME AS ABOVE )
    My advise is don't go overboard when tightening up parts on your bike, a waist of energy and potential to do harm down the track. If in doubt check your manual for torque specs, think you might be surprised.  Cheers  Phil
