going to buy some oil

    need to top up my oil its the first time im gonna put oil in my bike and just wanted to know what i should get

    Motul 5100.

    thanks guy i wanted to top it up because the oil light was coming on more offen so i just went and got some cheap castrol **** from a servo and ill get that 5100 and do a full service on the weekend

    Anything within your price range. Any major brand will be good enough, semi or full synth doesn’t really mater either. If you go to a bike shop and take a look at the range they offer you can’t really go wrong.

    My bike liked shell VSX4.

    Car oil is no good.

    i put car oil in my traily one time befor i found that out went on a weekend camping/riding my bike was making a burning smell everyone told me i thrashed my bike to hard so i rode like a bitch for the rest of the weekend to find out when i got home that it was just the oil cooking my clutch

    Motul smells nice cold or warmed up.

    Before you do anything with your FZR, let alone ride it, head on over to the How To section.

    Otherwise it could be tears for you long before their due.

    Just make sure the oil doesn't contain any friction modifiers, as far as I'm aware most modern car oils don't unless stated.
