    hi there -
    dont currently have a 250- did have a cm250 in the garage a while back 0- currently all 500s (v2) and 750s(v4s).

Ive been asked by some guys on the American VTR250 forums to see if I can adapt my ignition modules that Ive just launched to provide for the VTR250.

Check out the link if you want to see what Im doing -

So I'm on the lookout to find a South Aussie with a suitable 250 that runs the same ignition setup as the 88-89 VTR250 - or a grey import -

I'm not sure at this stage whether the spada uses the same setup or not.

    Regards
    Rayman

    Hey Rayman,

In the US , Honda sold the VTR250 (Interceptor) in 88/89, which was a Vtwin but way different to the Spada which was a Jap import. From what I can tell the VT250 Spada and the VTR250 interceptor were very different bikes and the VTR250 Interceptor was more based on the earlier VT250 Integra with improved styling. I cant be sure, good luck with your search

    Cheers

    Chris

Welcome Ray, your obviously a talented man. Do you know about the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club (had the national rally in Victor Harbor this year and again next march) as I'm sure a lot of the members could use some of your bits to keep the older bikes going. Love the CX.

I don't remember seeing your bike there as there were 230 to look at. We met some of the CX guys at the Birdwood Museum on Friday. Hope the bike that fell over at the show has been repaired ok.
