    Hey champ,

Had to put it on the backburner for a fair few weeks (work, study, money, time, bla bla bla ....) but I have been sick recently so I had a bit of spare time at home to get stuck back into it over the weekend.

I have all the parts I need minus some new bolts to attach the new exhaust to the head so I just have the old exhaust on it now.

This afternoon I put the last bits together and got the beast started! Made an almighty roar as it burst to life and didn’t stop. I had to pull the plug because something was obviously wrong. I checked the throttle wasn’t jammed open and am putting it down to an air leak.

Shouldn’t take much to fix but it was getting cold in the garage and the constant coughing wasn’t helping the fact so I called it a day.

Four new bolts, a trip to the motor registry and a nasty virus are now all that stand between me and the first ride.

I will let you know when it’s finished.
