Help GSXR250 GJ73A Rear shock replacement

    Hey guys,

    the shock fitted to the back of my bike is the wrong one all together as it hits both the dog link and the top fork bracket!!. It was put in years ago and I have no idea where it's from.

    If anyone has an original that they can give as many dimentions as posible or at least know a direct or better replacement I would be greatful :)

    Hi,

    I can tell you the closest match shock will be from the VJ21 RGV250. It's dimensions are identical and has a remote canister for compression adjustment. VJ22 model shock should fit too but length may be different (due to smaller rear wheel). Finding one that's not completely stuffed will be the hard part, but plenty of aftermarket high-quality options available.

    Thanks for the reply dude, I might have to go Nitron or Maxton if I can't find something sooner but due to its size it's going to cost a whole lot more than standard but at least I will feel a lot safer than it topping out like it is!
