    Hi All,

Thought I'd post something useful rather than asking a gazillion questions...

Being a huge 250 fan, I have both of these bikes.

I've been asked which is better and the answer is they're both good in different ways. I will finish this post soon with a complete overview and comparison for different sections e.g. Engine, Brakes, Handling etc.

    General

The gsxr250 is a 1987 model and has a lot of miles on it. It is in very good condition and as you can probably tell a little "smaller" than the zxr250. The zxr250 is a 1989 model and is also in very good condition. The zxr is faster and feels faster when you ride it. The gsxr is a lovely bike to ride and does everything well. The best way to describe them would be to say if they were human, the gsxr would know the difference between Chardonnay and Riesling, tuck its shirt in and comb its hair. The zxr would prefer someone "beer me", not wear pants at all and "maybe I'll get a mohawk!". Stay tuned for a more detailed analysis.

    have a good weekend all

    Frank

Your bikes look in great shape ..... I laughed at your analogy when comparing them.
Im looking forward to getting this ZXR Ive bought up to scratch and comparing it to the FZR

It would be good to have the complete set of bikes from that era to compare side by side.

Looking forward also to your more detailed comparisons :thumb_ups:
