Sorry to resurrect an old thread but does that wiring diagram by chance have the numbers on the coils? I have the GSF250 bandit and it's the closest I've seen to the colours I have. I am just not sure whether its 1 and 3 for the LH coil and 2 and 4 for the RH coil or 1&4 and 2&3 (which is what the bandit 400 has).

Coils are the same in themselves ...only difference will be the length of the leads ......which may have been replaced depending on the bike/coil ...the FZR ones are near impossible to remove. On the FZR (with the coils on the left of the frame), one coil has 1 short and 1 much longer lead for 1 & 4 The other has 2 leads similar for 2 & 3
Hmm I started stripping my harness today and I don't think this diagram is 100% correct, at least for the GJ73a. First thing that raised my concern was the diagram shows a fuel guage which my bike doesn't have. I also couldn't see the fuse panel on the diagram and there was a relay under the seat with 4 wires going into to which didn't seem to match anything on there. I'm removing all the wiring not needed for racing so if I spot any more discrepencies I will post em here.
