Ok im not sure if u guys have similar lights to my bike but my lenses are stuck to this plastic which just slide on to for long screws, so i have no way of adjusting it. i was thinkin since i need to change my headlight angel from poiting 45 degrees up back down to the road.. to add washers or nuts on the bottom 2 screws so it pushes the bottom of the plastic headlight set back so it tilts down.. any1 had tihs issue.. had different solutions to it? will appericate it thanks.
hey dean do you have a 3ln model? If so when i took off my upper faring which is the face of the bike I noticed that there are some plastic screws i think that is to adjust the lights. You can only see these screws when the fring is off. I haven't really try to adjust mines as yet, my lights are beging to go upward just like you explained and hitting trees so i'll try it and let you know if it works
Dean, Did you get this fixed? On most fully faired bikes there are two knobs, like shandu described. one is for vertical and the other horizontal. It is easiest to remove the fairing unless you have small hands and can reach up inside.
I have no screws, my headlights just slide on 4 long poles on the fairings and thats it.. so i have no choice but to let it point up.. i tried addin washers and **** but still dont work. if any1 can take a pic of this plz let me know.
I don't get my digi cam until next Thurs. but will be happy to take pics of my 750 and 1000. They should have similar setups.
I'm intrigued - I've never been visited by the 'headlight angels'. Is that like a less sinister version of the "Hell's Angels" or are they some type of heavenly manifestation that can only be seen with your bike's headlights??? It's too early in the morning for this type of (bad) humour I know... Bike still not bloody registered...damn RTA paperwork.
Angles = / V \ Angels = I was thing the same thing FiZzR. I just didn't want to say anything.
I'm totally lost, im slow to jokes.. so please explain!
if its a 2kr model then there are two adjusting screws on the obttom of the headlight. one for each light. screw in or out to adjust light up or down. as with wat the others hav said, u need to take off the top fairing. the two screws are just behind the headlight so its a bit hard to c from the front, even with the fairing off. hope this helps.. dave
When someone can gets a pictuer of this please post it up would really like to see what it looks like!
